Application Information

Please read the following instructions carefully to apply online for the 2024 Summer REU program in physics at Howard University. We will be accepting applications until April 5, 2024.

A complete application includes:

  • The application form.
  • A copy of your undergraduate transcript, including Fall 2023 grades (unofficial copy is sufficient).
  • Resume.
  • Two letters of recommendation.

Application Process:

  1. Fill out the application form.
  2. Email your resume and (unofficial) transcript to the Howard University REU in Physics Program Director at pmisra@howard.edu
  3. Your letter writers should email the recommendation letters to pmisra@howard.edu with the title "Letter of Recommendation on behalf of YourName".

Note: While the application form is automated to send the corresponding follow up emails, please follow up with your letter writers to ensure receipt.
