We welcome all Howard University physics alumni, and friends of the physics department. Your input and involvement in the department are vital to the lives of our students and the university community.

Provide career development advice and outreach to the Department
Identify potential employment and internship opportunities for students
Improve access to physics data and information for faculty and students

Career Development Committee

Assist the Department in the development and maintenance of an employment and internship database
Develop contact information for grants and scholarships
Review students' resumes and provide feedback

Information Committee

Create an information packet for distribution to students
Publish a newsletter with physics information and data
Upgrade and maintain alumni website
Organize a series of seminars to disseminate physics information

Public Relations Committee

Establish Friends of the physics Department for networking and support
Organize membership drives
Fundraising
